Before arriving at the hospital, paramedics revived Tina four times using CPR and a defibrillator. Each time her heart stopped, it seemed like the end—but she kept coming back.
After being stabilized, Tina woke up in the hospital and immediately gestured for a pen and paper. Though weak, she felt an urgent need to write something. Her husband held the paper steady as she wrote two words: “It’s real.”
Confused, Brian asked what she meant. Was it the pain or the hospital? Tina shook her head. Their daughter then guessed, “Heaven?” Tina nodded.
Later, Tina explained what she saw while her heart had stopped. She described seeing Jesus standing with open arms, surrounded by a bright, glowing light.
“The peace I felt was unbelievable,” Tina said. “It was so real. The colors were so vivid, and the feeling was indescribable.”
Brian still vividly recalls the moment Tina wrote her message. “When she wrote ‘It’s real,’ I got chills. It was clear she experienced something extraordinary.”
After just four days in the hospital, Tina was discharged and made a full recovery. She decided to share her story in a book titled *Heaven… It’s Real: How Dying Changes Living.*
In the book, Tina talks about how her glimpse of heaven changed her life. She shares how the peace and hope she felt have helped her face challenges like fear and anxiety. The book also includes practical advice, devotionals, and moments for readers to reflect on their own lives.
