American Airlines, her employer, described the attack as “a senseless crime” and expressed heartbreak over her death, as reported by ABC15.
“She always put others first. She loved animals, was an incredible musician, and overall an amazing person. This is a huge loss for everyone who knew her. Her love for horses will live on through us,” said her friend Josephine Dale to 12News.
The two other victims had injuries that were not life-threatening. The suspect, who has not been named, has been arrested, according to the Denver Police Department.
Police stated that the suspect is expected to face homicide charges, along with other charges related to the stabbings.
