Authorities arrived at a home in River Ridge around 4:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 18, after receiving a call about a shooting.

Two other children, ages 9 and 13, were also found with gunshot wounds.
According to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office, the suspect was 46-year-old Glenn Bohn Jr., the husband and father of the victims.
Police say that a 13-year-old girl called 911, claiming her father had shot her mother and siblings.
Sheriff Joseph Lopinto later confirmed that all four shooting victims were the suspect’s children and wife.
When deputies entered the home, they found Bohn in a back bedroom. They say he produced a firearm, and deputies returned fire, killing him.
The 9-year-old child is in critical condition, while the 13-year-old is in stable condition after being shot in the ankle. Both children were taken to a children’s hospital for treatment.
Authorities believe Bohn was the only shooter and are not looking for any other suspects. The 13-year-old victim was identified by Archbishop Chapelle High School as eighth-grader Tier Bohne. The school expressed sadness over the tragic event and offered support to Tier and her family.
