A man from Georgia was arrested hours after authorities say he fatally stabbed a woman.

He was captured the next morning in Dalton, Georgia, according to a statement from the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies arrived at the scene late Monday night and found the woman, Adriana Long, with a stab wound.
She was declared dead at the scene. Details about what led to the stabbing have not been released yet.
Moree is facing a murder charge and is being held at the Whitfield County Jail, according to Fox 5 Atlanta and WSB-TV.
Sheriff Darren J. Pierce praised the quick response from law enforcement, saying, “Teamwork is about more than just working together — it’s about bringing all our strengths and resources to bear in the pursuit of justice.
It takes a collective effort to respond to a tragedy like this. In just a few hours, we identified the offender, secured arrest warrants, and tracked him down in the woods to make the arrest. This shows what’s possible when we stand together for our community.”
