YouTuber Scott Luu decided to see what would happen to his body if he drank three liters of water daily for 30 days.

The first thing he noticed was how often he had to use the bathroom.
He went from peeing about six times a day to 12 or 13 times during the experiment.
Despite this inconvenience, Luu discovered some surprising benefits.
Early in the challenge, he realized he no longer felt groggy in the mornings, even after staying up late. Drinking half a liter of water right after waking up gave him “instant clarity.”
He also found he had more energy and needed fewer naps. Before the challenge, he napped daily, but during the 30 days, he only needed six naps in total.
However, by the end of the experiment, the immediate energy boost he felt from drinking water faded as his body got used to the increased intake.
Luu concluded that water isn’t a magical fix for all problems but can help if you’re organized and intentional. He said drinking more water improved his clarity, energy, focus, and stamina but joked that it also made him pee a lot!
Luu shared his journey in a YouTube video, which has gained over 200,000 views since its release in 2020. Viewers praised his experiment and shared their own water-drinking experiences.
One person said drinking only water for a year reduced their bloating and made them feel more energetic.
Another mentioned that drinking over three liters of water daily for two weeks helped control their blood sugar, making them wonder if dehydration worsened diabetes symptoms.
For Luu, the 30-day challenge was a learning experience that highlighted the power of staying hydrated.
