Months after a devastating hit-and-run left a man fighting for his life, Tydaijah Murray, 29, appeared in court following her arrest on multiple charges. The Florida woman now faces accusations of fleeing the scene of a crash, driving with a suspended license, and resisting arrest.

In the midst of this good Samaritan act, a speeding car—allegedly driven by Murray—crashed into him and two others. The impact left Arsirii with life-altering injuries, ultimately leading to the amputation of his right leg.
Court records reveal a troubling history for Murray, who has amassed numerous traffic violations and legal issues since 2016. Notably, she pleaded no contest in a 2019 hit-and-run case. At the time of the August crash, Murray was reportedly driving uninsured and on a suspended license.
According to a crash report obtained by local ABC affiliate WPLG, one of the victims managed to follow Murray to a residence immediately after the collision. Initially, Murray claimed ignorance of who had been driving her car but later admitted she was behind the wheel.
In a poignant turn, Arsirii’s family shared his painful journey through a GoFundMe page set up to cover his mounting medical expenses and rehabilitation costs.
They described his critical condition post-crash, multiple surgeries, and the daunting uncertainty of his recovery. The family expressed fears that he might not receive any financial compensation for his ordeal.
During her Friday court appearance, a judge ordered Murray to be held on $280,000 bail. If released, she must surrender her passport, avoid contact with Arsirii’s family, and abstain from driving. She would also be required to wear a tracking monitor to ensure compliance with court directives.
As the case unfolds, the focus remains on justice for Arsirii and accountability for Murray, whose actions have had life-altering consequences for all involved.
