Footage showed Caleb running north on Lincoln Avenue, passing a Gasolina station, with his attacker chasing after him.
An employee at the Gasolina station said Caleb called his father after being stabbed. “He called his dad saying, ‘Dad, I can’t breathe.’ He was running, but the other guy caught him.”
The employee added, “It’s heartbreaking. He was a good kid, always well-dressed and polite. He wasn’t involved in street life.”
The suspect is still on the run, and police are actively investigating the case. Caleb’s father, Jacob Rios, described his son as a loving and caring boy.
“It’s so hard right now,” the grieving father said. “He was a wonderful child.”
