Authorities say the victim had earlier ordered a pizza, which was delivered by Brianna Alvelo. What should have been a routine delivery quickly escalated when Alvelo reportedly became furious over the tip she received. Instead of letting it go, she returned to the man’s hotel room with a male accomplice armed with a gun.
The pair allegedly forced their way into the room, where Alvelo stabbed the man repeatedly. After the violent attack, the duo stole unspecified items before fleeing the scene.
A Grisly Holiday Arrest
Investigators identified Alvelo as the primary suspect and arrested her the following day. She now faces a slew of charges, including home invasion with a firearm, attempted murder, kidnapping, and aggravated assault. She is being held in the Osceola County Jail without bond. Her accomplice, however, remains at large.
Spending her Christmas behind bars, Alvelo’s alleged actions have left a community shaken. Police are urging anyone with information about the male suspect to contact Crimeline at (800) 423-8477.
For now, the name of the pizza restaurant remains undisclosed, and the incident is still under investigation. What should have been a simple pizza delivery has turned into a shocking story of violence and theft, leaving many wondering what led to such a dramatic escalation over a tip.
