Authorities, including local police and sheriff’s departments, are conducting an extensive search using drones and coordinating door-to-door inquiries in the hope of finding Blessing. Described as a Black girl about 3 feet tall and weighing 50 pounds, the community and police are urgently seeking any information regarding her whereabouts.
Police are considering the possibility that the car theft was not intended as a kidnapping, suggesting it was “accidental” that Blessing was in the car. They remain hopeful for her safe return and are encouraging anyone, even anonymously, to come forward with information about where she might be.
Officials have requested the public not to place blame on the child’s mother, noting that the theft occurred rapidly. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the police, and anonymous tips are welcome.
