He is scheduled to appear in court on December 24.
Remembering Micah
Micah’s death has devastated his family and community. A GoFundMe campaign, organized by a family friend, has raised over $57,000 to support Micah’s mother, Angelina Demskiy, and their loved ones.
The fundraiser describes Micah as a sweet, kind-hearted boy who loved spending time with his family, going to the park, and singing hymns. “His kind heart and beautiful smile warmed the hearts of everyone he came in contact with,” the campaign states.
Aftermath
Demskiy’s mother-in-law was hospitalized for non-life-threatening injuries sustained during the incident. The SCSO described the case as one of the most horrific they have encountered. Amar Gandhi, a spokesperson for the sheriff’s office, said, “This family’s world is shattered, and it’s something that will stay with us forever.”
Community Support
A memorial has been set up outside the family’s home, with flowers, candles, and teddy bears to honor Micah. The community continues to grieve and support the family during this unimaginable tragedy.
The GoFundMe campaign asks for prayers and financial help for the Demskiy and Vinnikov families during this difficult time.
